Firebirds to host Whaley Night this Saturday to collect hygiene items for children
Sponsored silver level tickets will be given to anyone that brings five or more hygiene items for Whaley Children’s Center, courtesy of Landaal Packaging, View Newspaper Group & Oasis Outsourcing
FLINT, Mich. — The Flint Firebirds are hosting a special night for Whaley Children’s Center (WCC) on March 10, 2018 as the Firebirds face off against western conference rival the London Knights at 7 p.m. at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center. All attendees will receive a complimentary Silver Level ticket with the donation of five personal hygiene items to the children at WCC, sponsored by Landaal Packaging & View Newspaper Group in Michigan and Oasis Outsourcing in Sarasota, Fla. There will also be a 50-50 raffle with all proceeds benefitting WCC.

Tickets start at $12 and are available at www.flintfirebirds.com or for free by bringing five personal hygiene items to the game. While supplies last. Items may be redeemed for tickets starting on March 5th at the Firebirds merchandise store which is located in the Dort Federal Event Center. WCC has a great need for a variety of personal hygiene products including shampoo, conditioner, hairbrushes, feminine products, ethnic hair care, hair detangler, deodorant, towels, wash clothes, hair ties, underwear, socks, Nair, sun screen, bug spray and facial cleansing clothes.

Whaley Children’s Center is an independent, 501 c(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1926 that provides residential child care services to children age 5- 17 years old who have suffered chronic and profound abuse and neglect.
