Flint Firebirds Head Coach Ryan Oulahen was picked by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2003 NHL Draft. He spent three years as a captain with the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Grand Rapids Griffins before his career-ending injury in March of 2009. Oulahen sat down with ABC 12’s Ryan Slocum to tell his story.
