Flint, Mich. – The Flint Firebirds announced today the launch of #FirebirdsMaskContest, a social media contest in which fans can help goaltender Luke Cavallin design his new Flint Firebirds goalie mask. Cavallin will choose elements from his favorite fan entries to be painted on his mask for the next Ontario Hockey League (OHL) season.
Cavallin will select finalists from the submissions and those finalists will receive four tickets to a Firebirds game featuring a group meet-and-greet at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center. The selected entrants will also receive a signed puck and have the opportunity to pose for a photo with Cavallin and the mask. One of the selected entrants will be awarded the Grand Prize, which will be a custom Flint Firebirds signed Luke Cavallin Jersey and framed photo of the designed mask. If the winner is from outside the Flint area, the signed puck, or signed game jersey & framed photo if grand prize winner, will be shipped to the winner.
